Ashbrook High School offers students the chance to explore their creativity through our Fine Arts program. Students can take part in:

  • Band – Play instruments and perform in concerts and marching band. Courses include:
    • Beginning / Intermediate / Proficient Honors / Advanced Honors
    • Concert
    • Leadership in Band
    • Color Guard
    • Jazz Ensemble A - I, II, III, IV
    • Jazz Ensemble B - I, II, III, IV
    • Percussion Class
  • Chorus – Sing in groups and take part in school and community performances. Courses include:
    • Beginning / Intermediate / Proficient Honors / Advanced Honors
    • Musical Theater
    • Gaston County Choral Ensemble - A & B
    • Dance: Beginning and Intermediate
  • Art – Learn to draw, paint, and create in different styles. Courses include:
    • Beginning / Intermediate / Proficient Honors / Advanced Honors
    • Art Sculpture
    • Ceramics
  • Theater – Act in plays, help with sets, and be part of live shows.
    • Beginning / Intermediate / Proficient Honors / Advanced Honors
    • Technical Theater
    • Film Production & Directing
